Recent international experience:
Acted as Local Legal Counsel in Jordan for a global aircraft operating leasing company based in Dublin and London in two dry lease transactions of Airbus A320 aircraft to Royal Jordanian Airlines, including lease execution and CARC filings.

Represented global aircraft leasing companies based in Ireland and Singapore in deregistration proceedings for two Airbus aircraft on dry lease to Royal Jordanian Airlines. Yazan advised the lessors before the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) and oversaw the deregistration and export process until the aircraft were successfully transferred to a new lessee in the region.

Advised and acted for an international aircraft maintenance company in a dispute with a private jet operator in Jordan, including deregistration matters for a Cessna Citation aircraft before the CARC and related proceedings with a local bank.

Appeared before the High Court of Johor Bahru, Malaysia, as a foreign legal expert in a multimillion-dollar dispute, and was later appointed as a foreign legal expert in a commercial case before the Ontario Supreme Court, Canada.

Advised Aéroports de Paris (ADP) on legal matters relating to its investment in the Airport International Group (AIG), operator of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA).

Advised and represented a well-regarded international mail courier and shipping company in its expansion into Jordan, assisting with all regulatory approvals, licenses, and compliance requirements for its operations.

Advised a regional InfoTech company on incorporating a legal entity in Jordan to execute a 5G installation project for Zain, Umniah, and Orange.

–

Advised several international airlines on matters relating to dual tax treaties, HR and employment law, and commercial contracts for their branch operations in Jordan.

Assisted multinational companies in incorporating legal entities and subsidiaries in Jordan, representing them before the competent authorities.

Advised an international trading company on disputes over international sale of goods and Incoterms contracts with a Jordanian consignee.

–

Represented a London-based international subcontractor construction company in legal matters relating to the execution of a Jordanian project.

–

Advised an international confectionery company on distributorship contracts with its local distributors in Jordan.

–

Advised multiple multinational corporations on commercial agency and distributorship agreements with local agents and distributors.

–

Concluded share transfer deeds worth 65 million JODs between a regional real estate company and its subsidiaries.

Advised several multinational companies on data protection and compliance with Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law.

Represented an international engineering company in contractual and dispute matters relating to its EPC contract with the Aqaba Development Company for the rehabilitation of the Aqaba Oil Terminal.
